The Environment Agency Flood Map for Planning is a model. It tells you where flooding is expected based on historical hydrological data. It does not tell you which specific properties in your portfolio flooded during Storm Babet, Storm Isha, or any other recent event.

NovaRisk™ uses Sentinel-1 SAR radar observations — which operate through cloud cover, day and night — to identify actual flood extent at postcode and property level, then compares that against EA zone classification to surface divergence risk.
